Who We Are

Wild Hearts & Wise Souls is a community of the spiritually curious—seekers, skeptics, believers, and wanderers—who gather to explore life’s deepest questions through authentic connection, creative expression and the wisdom found in the wild places of our souls and the earth.

Born from a shared longing to create the kind of community we couldn’t quite find, Wild Hearts & Wise Souls is a place where people of all backgrounds can explore life’s deepest questions with curiosity instead of certainty, authenticity instead of performance and connection instead of isolation. After years of leading, learning, and navigating our own spiritual journeys, we discovered that some of our most profound moments of growth happened not in classrooms or sanctuaries, but around campfires, on forest trails, through creative expression, and in honest conversations with trusted companions. Together, we create experiences that invite others into those same spaces of reflection, belonging, and transformation.

Meet Em

Founder, Re-Wilding Witness, Coach & Facilitator

I am a co-creator of Wild Hearts & Wise Souls—a space born from a deep desire to bring my life’s work into the world in a more wild, soulful, and untethered way. For over 25 years, I worked inside organizations—facilitating growth in areas like leadership development, team building, coaching, and organizational change. What lit me up most was always the same: creating spaces where people could see themselves more clearly, feel deeply known, and experience real transformation through connection and reflection.

This work is not just professional—it’s deeply personal.

Educationally, I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and business and a master’s in organizational development—the study and practice of change at the individual, group, and systems level.

Personally, therapeutic work remains a steady, grounding force in my life. It has shaped what I believe at my core: that we are not problems to fix, but mysteries to explore—full of parts that long to be seen, understood, and integrated with compassion.

Much of what I offer is also rooted in years of sitting in women’s circles, practicing Jungian-based social processing—learning how our stories, wounds, and patterns show up in relationship, and how healing happens when we bring those dynamics into awareness together.

At the center of it all is my ongoing surrender to Jesus—a relationship that continues to guide, refine, and ground me. It is the deepest well from which I draw my trust in the unfolding of each person’s journey.

But more than anything, I am someone who has walked the path of transformation and continues to walk it—curious, open, and committed.

My invitation is simple:
Let’s find our gold in the wilderness together.

Meet Chassie

Co-Creator, Creative Guide, Teaching Artist & Facilitator

I am a co-creator of Wild Hearts & Wise Souls — walking alongside my dear friend Em, as she births this wild and beautiful offering into the world.

This work calls to something I've carried throughout my life: the longing to help others unearth and cultivate their own inherent creativity and discover how the arts can support, enhance and transform their lives in meaningful ways.

My passion for arts education began early. As far back as I can remember, I wanted to be a teacher. I played "school" with anyone who'd let me, even imaginary students. I gathered neighborhood friends to design elaborate arts experiences for our parents and younger siblings. My mother — a gifted dancer, artist, and teacher — shaped what I believed was possible.

The arts have been a safe haven for me.

I discovered early in life that I didn’t connect with traditional learning pathways. The arts offered me alternate doorways into meaning — inroads to learning, other ways of knowing and making sense of the world. Thankfully, my teachers were often amenable to me bending assignments toward those doorways, which allowed me to thrive in school.

Professionally, I am an elementary arts educator and arts integration specialist of more than ten years, a dancer and visual artist of over forty, and a lover of leadership as a practice of tending to others' growth. I hold a master's of art in teaching and a bachelor's in communication with a minor in fine arts teaching. I studied ballet at the University of Utah and have been a member of the Beverly Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program through the University of Utah and Tanner Dance. I continue to study, to attend, and to grow.

At the center of my offering is my belief that each of us carries creative ground within — ground that is sacred, often untouched, and waiting. I want to cultivate a space where others feel safe to explore, invited to create, and ignited to learn about themselves through the arts.

My invitation is simple: Let's tend that ground together. Let's see what wants to grow.
